Next Semester

Hey all, interesting school stuff. The School of Theology & Christian Ministry recieved an overhaul to all of their degrees, including the addition of two new majors. After looking at the options, I have decided to adopt the new catalog in order to double major. So as of now, I am no longr a Bible & Christian Ministries major, but a Christian Ministry (New BCM) AND Biblical Studies (New major) major. I'm so excited :D I registered for classes for Fall '05, and thought I'd share my schedule for all of you who are interested. Those of you who aren't, um...stop reading.

MWF
730-820: Essentials of New Testament Greek I-Smith- Good: Excited to learn Greek, Bad: WHO?! puts a language at 0730 AM!! Esp. a dead one!!
945-1030: Yay for chapel!
1100-1150: Early Christianity in the Pauline Church-McCant- Dr. McCant's a good ol'boy from Atlanta. He is chronically ill and makes heretical statements sometimes, but he's so sweet about it that we manage to forgive him. This one'll be good.
130-220: Preaching-Smith- Smith might be the funniest prof. in the School of Theology. Don't get a match near his hair though...

930-1045: Literature of Second Temple Judaeism-McCant- See Pauline Lit...Derek & Greg said that this class was the most fun class they've taken in the entire School of Theology, and that counts for a lot. Zac and I are having to cross our fingers that Jerry has at least another semester in the tank, though.
130-245: Interpreting the Bible-Kelle- A prerequisite to all the Bible classes I already took...impeccable timing on this one :/ It'll still be really interesting though, Kelle's like Jerry, only fully lucid all the time. Plus it will be fun to watch all the underclassmen get their collectively silly vision of the Biblical texts utterly shattered. I kinda hope he makes someone cry.

Aight, well another short one, but exciting :) Now to get through the rest of THIS semseter...
